The Eaton RPR-2 is a portable, remote-controlled power racking system designed to improve safety and efficiency during the racking (insertion or removal) of power circuit breakers from electrical switchgear. Engineered to help protect personnel from arc flash hazards, the RPR-2 enables operators to perform racking operations from a safe distance—outside the arc flash boundary—using a handheld control pendant.
The system is compatible with a wide range of Eaton and non-Eaton breakers and can be adapted to fit various switchgear configurations. Featuring a compact and modular design, the RPR-2 includes a motorized drive unit, adjustable stanchion assembly, and a visual indicator tower that provides real-time operational feedback.
