The Siemens MXF461.25-8.0 is a motorized magnetic control valve designed for precise modulation of flow in HVAC and industrial water systems. It combines a valve body and integrated magnetic actuator to provide fast, accurate control of heating or cooling media in closed-loop systems.
This valve is commonly used for mixing or 2-port control applications, where it regulates the flow of chilled water, low-temperature hot water, or heat transfer fluids. The integrated electronic actuator receives a control signal (typically 0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and adjusts the valve position accordingly, allowing smooth and precise flow modulation.
The MXF461 series is known for its very fast response time (around 2 seconds) and high positioning accuracy, making it suitable for systems requiring stable temperature control and energy-efficient operation.
