Description
The Formulatrix ROCK IMAGER® is a high-performance automated imaging system designed for protein crystallization screening and structural biology research. It captures high-resolution images of crystallization drops in microplates over time, enabling researchers to monitor crystal growth under controlled environmental conditions.
The system integrates automated plate handling, precision optics, and incubated storage, allowing continuous or scheduled imaging of hundreds to thousands of plates without manual intervention. It is widely used in pharmaceutical R&D, structural biology labs, and academic research centers for protein structure determination workflows.
Depending on configuration, Rock Imager systems can store and image from single plates up to 1500+ plates in high-throughput models (RI1000).
