Description

### Waste to Energy Gasifier & Steam Generator ###
Steam Generator 50,000 lbs/hr at 150 psig. System disposes of wood flour and carpet waste (the fuel) by a staged combustion process in a Gasifier resulting in hot clean waste gases through a Rentech HRSG (heat recovery steam generator) to generate steam. Natural gas is used at startup to obtain combustion of the fuel, then shut off during the process. Feed is 3 tons/hr of blended waste (or 5 tons per hour of wood flour) generating 50,000 lbs/hr steam at 150 psig, and approx. 745 lbs per hour of ash. Includes ash recovery and silo, gasifier, combustion tube column, HRSG (heat recovery steam generator), baghouse dust collector for fly ash and stack. Siemens was the systems integrator and engineered the plant; PRIMENERGY (PRME) was the general contractor and manufacturer of the KC-17 Gasifier. See all links including PFD for all components.
