The SPX-24 model is Kingston’s most compact entry in its slant bed line. With its 25 HP spindle motor, hydraulic V12 turret, 2.9” bar capacity, 24” swing over bed, and lengths from 28” – 120”, the SPX- 24 is an extremely versatile and powerful production machine. The heavily ribbed one-piece bed and box way casting is made of a fine- grain Meehanite that is heat treated, annealed twice and ground to attain the stability and hardness of HRC53. Each sliding surface is further coated with Turcite-B for optimal performance even under your heaviest loading and cutting conditions. Useful optional accessories to customize your SPX-24 include: C-Axis and live tooling capability, bar feeder interface, 50 HP spindle motor, 20-bar hi-pressure coolant system, and bar capacity upgrades to 4.13”.
