The NT 1320-50 is our 50HP Single Surface Planer with 52″ working width. This planer is our biggest single surface planer that we stock. It has a heavy duty cast iron base, oversized column bed supports and spring loaded chip breakers. The 1320 comes standard with powered digital thickness control, independent feed start/stop, independent cutterhead start/stop and inverter speed control. It also comes standard with limit switches to restirct head access while on, front and rear emergency stop buttons, and anti kick back fingers for added safety. The corrugated sectional infeed rollers with smooth non marking outfeed rollers coupled with integrated bed rollers provide smooth part feeding during heavy stock removal operations. Unlike many competitive models of single surface planers, all Northtech feed rollers are synchronized to turn at the same speed.
