This 43-inch dual-head wide-belt sander from Northtech is a very robust machine. A single 30 HP motor powers the 8″ diameter first head and combination second head at a constant speed for consistent results. With feed rates of 16-47 FPM, it will sand efficiently and cost-effectively. Features: Centralized control center with visual load meter and digital elevation control. Power supply light with emergency stop control. Individual start/stop controls for feed and sanding head. Mechanical feed adjustment allows the operator to change desired feed speed from 16-47.2fpm. Single 30HP TEFC motor rated for continuous use delivers constant power to sanding surfaces. Triple V-belt drive for full power delivery to sanding surface. Disc braking for rapid emergency stops. Full access door with lock-on outbound side. Each sanding head has quick-adjust belt tracking on the inbound side. Strong 4-Jack elevation control for parallel, precise and repeatable sanding quality. 1st Head 8″ 65 Shore Rubber Contact Drum 1/4 Turn head lock with removable puck. * 2nd Combination Head with 4″ rubber contact drum with 65/70 Shore Platen. 1/4 Turn head lock with removable puck. Individual roller and platen adjustment. Upper and lower elevation protection switches prevent the machine from crashing. (8) 5″ dust port require 681 CFM @ point of extraction. Dust port formed into machine body for superb fugitive dust control. Belt tracking cycle speed is easily adjustable for product-specific oscillation.
