The NT-850HCVS is our 30HP Single Surface Planer with a 33-1/4″ working width. This planer has a heavy-duty cast iron base, oversized column bed supports, and spring-loaded chip breakers. The 850 comes standard with powered digital thickness control, independent feed start/stop, independent cutterhead start/stop, and inverter speed control. It also comes standard with limit switches to restrict head access while on, front and rear emergency stop buttons, and anti-kick-back fingers for added safety. The corrugated sectional infeed rollers with smooth non marking outfeed rollers coupled with integrated bed rollers provide smooth part feeding during heavy stock removal operations. Unlike many competitive models of single surface planers, all Northtech feed rollers are synchronized to turn at the same speed.
