The SSI 2400 Dual Shaft Shredder is a robust industrial shredder designed for high-volume reduction of materials such as tires, plastics, solid waste, and metals. This used model features a dual-shaft hydraulic shear system with a 40" x 60" cutting chamber powered by a 200 HP drive. It operates efficiently at low speeds of 13-16 RPM, providing high torque with 2-inch wide knives for effective material processing.

With its hydraulic ram feed, this shredder efficiently handles bulky materials, while the auto-reversing feature minimizes jams. The design allows for versatile configurations, including stationary, trailer-mounted, or with specialized feeding rams and conveyor systems as needed.
