The Delta Systems Eagle High-Speed Automatic Horizontal Flow Wrapper is a high-performance packaging machine, capable of handling production rates of up to 240 packages per minute (PPM). Equipped with a dual arbor film feed, film splicer, and printed film registration, this wrapper supports a maximum 12.24" web width cold seal film. The unit includes a VideoJet 1610 Ink Jet coder for printing lot codes, expiration dates, and branding information directly onto the film.
Featuring 2-up, 3-1/4" wide end seal crimpers with horizontal lines and a serrated knife cut-off, this system ensures secure and precise product sealing. The 68" infeed conveyor operates on 5-7/8" centers with 2" high pin lugs on 6" centers, making it versatile for various product heights and configurations.
Additionally, the infeed is equipped with a Houdijk Holland 4-row automated biscuit cracker feeder, designed to handle variable height stacks. An air knife reject system removes over-height stacks, ensuring smooth operation.
The system features AB Kinetix 6000 servo motion drives for the cracker feeder and Rexroth Indradrives for the flow wrapper, with controls managed through an Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 1000 HMI and Allen Bradley CompactLogix L435 PLC.
