Description:
The Cumberland Model 18X37 Granulator is a heavy-duty granulation system specifically designed for film granulation applications. Featuring an 18" x 37" feed throat, the unit is equipped with a 5-knife steep angle step adjustable rotor (10 segments) and 2 bed knives for efficient and precise cutting. The granulator is belt-driven by a powerful 100 HP, 460 Volt, 1780 RPM motor and uses gravity discharge for material removal.
The system includes a 6" diameter x 37" wide knurled and grooved offset position feed roll infeed with pneumatic pinch to securely feed materials. The feed roll infeed is paired with a feed roll infeed trumpet and is chain and sprocket driven by a 7.5 HP, 1750/1930 RPM continuous duty DC motor through a Reliance 2.76/1 gearbox, ensuring smooth and controlled feeding of film materials.
