📄 Product Description
This Used Prodex Pelletizing Line is a heavy-duty production system designed for high-volume plastic pellet output. It features a 4.5” diameter, 32:1 L/D extruder with an electrically heated and water-cooled (closed-loop) barrel and side venting. The Lufkin change gear gearbox is driven by a 300 HP A/C motor using a Yaskawa inverter, arranged in a tuck-under configuration. An oversized, water-cooled feed throat and volumetric screw feeder allow for consistent material input.
Mounted on the discharge is a hydraulic slide plate screen changer (dual 4.5” breakers), complete with hydraulic pack, strand die, and operator stand. Downstream, it includes a 25 HP Cumberland Quietizer 11” pelletizer with solid helical rotor and Yaskawa V1000 drive. The system finishes with a Witte 10” x 72” two-deck screener for finished pellet separation.
Note: Extruder screw is not included.
