This Used Readco Twin Screw Continuous Processor, Model 3 1/2 HVY DU, is a heavy-duty, continuous processing system designed for high-shear mixing, kneading, and processing of viscous and high-density materials. Engineered with stainless steel product contact surfaces, it’s ideal for applications requiring sanitary processing, such as in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and plastics industries.
The jacketed barrel is rated for 150 psi at 600°F, providing precise temperature control through heating or cooling media. It features cored shafts with rotary units for further thermal management. Powered by a 50 HP, 460-volt motor, this processor is equipped with cantilevered screws, an adjustable gap ribbon die, and comes with a spare set of screw splines configured for an end bearing housing.
