NEW & IN STOCK! The Paul O. Abbe Model RB-165 Ribbon Blender is an industrial-grade, high-performance mixer built for the blending of powders, granules, and bulk solids. With a 165 cubic foot working capacity and 180 cubic foot total volume, this unit is designed for large-scale food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial blending operations.
Fabricated from Type 304 polished stainless steel, this ribbon blender meets food-grade standards and is highly resistant to corrosion. Its internal double spiral ribbon ensures efficient and uniform blending. The trough dimensions are approximately 53.6" wide x 110.3" long x 58.3" deep, providing ample space for batch processing.
The unit is powered by a 50 HP SEW Eurodrive hollow bore motor, operating at 230/460 volts, 1775 RPM, 3 phase / 60 Hz, with an output speed of approximately 28 RPM. It includes a top cover with hold-down clamps and a limit switch, a center loading cover with a welded safety grate (30" wide x 50" long), and an air-operated flush plug valve (4.7" wide x 19.7") for efficient discharge.
The discharge housing measures approximately 20.5" wide x 28.4" long, with a 4" discharge height. The blender weighs approximately 10,164 pounds and has overall dimensions of 74" wide x 167" long x 85.5" high. Controls are available upon request.
