The Used J.H. Day Plow Type Turbulent Mixer is a high-efficiency mixing system designed for industrial applications requiring intense turbulence and uniform blending. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this mixer has a 3.5 cubic feet total capacity and features a non-jacketed chamber (20” diameter x 22” straight side). Equipped with a 3” diameter shaft with blades and end scrapers, it ensures thorough material agitation.
This unit includes a side-entering pinned disc mill, providing additional processing capability. The mixer is powered by a 7.5 HP Sterling variable Speed-trol motor (1800 RPM), while the disc mill operates with a 10 HP motor (3490 RPM). Additional features include a top access door with a charge port, an 8” center bottom outlet with a manually operated plug valve, and an integrated control panel. The entire system is mounted on a carbon steel frame for stability and durability.
