The American Process Systems Forberg FZM-35 Fluidized Zone Mixer is a high-efficiency, 35 cubic foot working capacity mixing system designed for thorough and rapid blending of dry powders, granules, and food ingredients. This 304 stainless steel unit provides uniform mixing through fluidization technology, making it a great alternative to traditional ribbon and paddle mixers.
This unit features a non-jacketed chamber (58" L x 67" W) and dual 4" diameter mixing shafts, each equipped with 16 paddles (11-9/16" wide x 3/8" thick) welded to 1-1/2" diameter posts. It is powered by a 30 HP motor (1760 RPM, 3/60/208-230/460V) with a 30.05:1 gearbox ratio, delivering consistent and efficient mixing performance.
For easy product discharge, the mixer includes two 9" x 57" Bombay door-style outlets and two 20" x 20" side access doors for convenient cleaning and maintenance. It comes with a stainless steel stand and a Bag Dump Station, enhancing usability and process integration.
Previously used in cereal and food production, this high-speed, fluidized zone mixing system ensures superior blending consistency and reduced mixing times.
