Description
This Ellett Industries Horizontal Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger is a single-pass unit designed for highly corrosive and high-temperature applications. It features 930 square feet of heat transfer surface area and (237) Zirconium (SB-523) tubes, each measuring ¾" diameter x 20' long, offering exceptional resistance to chemical attack. The 304L stainless steel shell ensures structural integrity while resisting moderate corrosion.
Designed to withstand extreme conditions, the tube side is rated for 165 psi / full vacuum (FV) at -20°F to 550°F, while the shell side is rated for 75 psi at -20°F to 200°F. This unit was previously used as a Nitric Acid cooler condenser, making it ideal for chemical and industrial processes requiring high corrosion resistance.
