Description
Used Leistritz ZSE 27 HP-PH-40D twin screw extruder system, configured as a complete pharmaceutical-grade extrusion line. This unit features co-rotating 27 mm twin screws with a 40:1 L/D ratio, delivering high-performance mixing, compounding, and hot melt extrusion capabilities.
The system includes 10 barrel sections with (9) heated zones, utilizing electrical heating and water cooling for precise thermal control. The Hastelloy C-276 construction ensures excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for high-purity and aggressive formulations.
Driven by a 22.5 HP (15 kW), 1750 RPM AC motor via gearbox, the extruder supports screw speeds up to 500 RPM, offering flexibility for various processing conditions.
