Description

The Minimax SC 2C provides a professional-grade transition for woodworkers seeking to elevate their craft beyond the limitations of traditional cabinet saws through a precise, compact sliding table system. Equipped with a robust 3.4hp motor and a 5.5-foot sliding table, the machine efficiently processes 4×8 sheets while maintaining a footprint suitable for small joineries or high-end residential workshops. Its updated saw unit supports a 315 mm blade and features an externally adjustable scoring unit to ensure tear-out-free results on both thick solid wood and delicate veneers. Stability is reinforced by a 270 mm wide sliding table operating on hardened steel guideways, while an anodized aluminum parallel fence with micrometric adjustment allows for exacting, repeatable cuts. By merging decades of engineering expertise with a versatile design that supports mobility for various environments, the SC 2C delivers industrial-level capacity and uncompromising accuracy in a remarkably space-saving package.
Our NEW entry level sliding table saw, the minimax sc 2c is a proven design based on years of experience. It is perfect for customers upgrading to their first slider from an American table saw. The footprint is small, but the capacity is large. This slider, like all of our sliders, is standard with scoring, and can accommodate a 12” blade. The 5.5’ crosscut capacity is ideal for processing panels.
