Northtech Industrial NT HBR-400XL Horizontal Band Resaw

The Northtech Industrial NT HBR-400XL Horizontal Band Resaw is designed for higher-production industrial use! It sports a large 40 HP motor that drives a 32″ diameter x 1-7/8″ wide saw wheel (approximately 450lbs) for high centrifugal cutting force and vibration-free performance while maintaining a blade speed of 6150 FPM. Material up to 16-3/4″ (W) and 17″ (H) is belt-fed with inverter speed control (with LED readout) for quick setting of production feed speeds from 4 FPM up to 130 FPM to easily accommodate different material types and width. Sensors automatically trigger the pneumatic lowering of the top rollers onto the material as it enters to preclude the need to adjust for different material thicknesses. All this power and control is put to good use with a maximum cutting capacity of 16-3/4″ (W) and 17″ (H).

Pneumatic raise & lower of top feed rollers is automatic. When the material is presented, a sensor lifts and lowers onto the material on both sides of the blade. * Prevents material from slamming into the rollers and requires no adjustment within a 4″ ± thickness range. * i.e. random thickness material requires no adjustment.
Remote and dustproof controls panel allows random placement, conveniently making the material placement and operator position a flexible option.
