Northtech NT 820HC 50HP+50HP Double Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Heads)

This powerhouse planer from Northtech boasts dual 50 HP motors. Each one drives a 6″ (diameter) helical insert cutter head that has been dynamically balanced to reduce noise and vibration, resulting in longer life and smoother finish. A VFD-controlled 10 HP motor governs the carpet spike feed system (with 1,500 hardened spikes!) to securely feed material up to 32-3/8” (W) and 8″ (H) through the machine. Four (4) 6″ dust ports ensure efficient removal of shavings, and the automatic lubricator keeps everything running smoothly with less required maintenance. Digital controls ensure simple, accurate, and precise control of thickness and speed settings.
