Northtech NT 760XL 40HP+30HP Double Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Heads)

This double-surface planer from Northtech uses a 40 HP motor up top and a 30 HP motor underneath. Each one drives a helical insert cutter head that has been dynamically balanced to reduce noise and vibration, resulting in longer life and smoother finish. A VFD-controlled 5 HP motor governs the carpet spike feed system (with 1,350 hardened spikes!) to steadily feed material up to 29-15/16” (W) and 8″ (H) through the machine. Two (2) 8″ dust ports ensure efficient removal of shavings. The automatic lubricator keeps everything running smoothly with less required maintenance. Digital controls ensure simple, accurate, and precise control of thickness and speed settings.
