Northtech NT 610SS Supermax 16 50HP+40HP Double Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Heads)

This double-surface planer from Northtech uses a 50 HP motor up top and a 40 HP motor underneath. Each one drives a 6″ diameter helical insert cutter head that has been dynamically balanced to reduce noise and vibration, resulting in longer life and smoother finish. Material up to 24” (W) by 16″ (H) is precisely pulled through the machine by a VFD-controlled 10 HP motor driving a carpet spike feed system with 1,500 hardened spikes. Two (2) 6″ dust ports efficiently extract shavings while the automatic lubricator keeps everything running smoothly with less required maintenance. Digital controls ensure simple, accurate, and precise control of thickness and speed settings.
