Northtech NT-610XL Heavy Duty Chain Drive 30HP+25HP Double Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Heads)

This double-surface planer from Northtech uses a 30 HP motor on the top cutter and a 25 HP motor on the bottom. Both 5-1/4″ diameter helical insert cutter heads have been dynamically balanced to reduce noise and vibration, resulting in longer life and smoother finish. Material up to 24” (W) by 6-1/2” (H) is precisely pulled through the machine by a 5 HP motor-driven carpet spike feed system with CVT adjustable drive speed. Two (2) 6″ dust ports efficiently extract shavings while the automatic lubricator keeps everything running smoothly with less required maintenance. Digital controls ensure simple, accurate, and precise control of thickness settings.
