Northtech NT 610SC-I 40HP+30HP Double Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Heads)

This double-surface planer from Northtech uses a 40 HP motor on the top cutter and a 30 HP motor on the bottom cutter. Both 5-1/2″ diameter helical insert cutter heads have been dynamically balanced to reduce noise and vibration, resulting in longer life and smoother finish. Material up to 24” (W) by 7-3/4” (H) is precisely pulled through the machine by a VFD-controlled 5 HP motor driving a carpet spike feed system with 1,500 hardened spikes. Two (2) 6″ dust ports efficiently extract shavings while the automatic lubricator keeps everything running smoothly with less required maintenance. Digital controls ensure simple, accurate, and precise control of thickness and speed settings.
