Northtech NT 20-10HCVS-1032 Single Surface Planer (w/ Helical Cutter Head)

This Northtech NT 20-10HCVS series single-surface planer opens wide to accept material up to 8″ (H) by 20″ (W). A 10 HP motor drives the 3″ helical cutter head with six (6) rows of inserts. The cutter head is dynamically balanced to ensure a quieter operation and smoother cuts. An efficient 1 HP motor provides steady feed rates from 0 to 70 FPM, precisely controlled through a variable frequency drive. Pressure shoes and powered rollers securely move the material through the machine along the highly-polished bed with ball-bearing rollers.
