Description

FT-IR spectrometers require desiccant kits to keep their optical paths moisture-free. PerkinElmer recommends that your instrument’s desiccant be replaced every six months. Your spectrometer’s manual has instructions on how to install the desiccant. Depending on the spectrometer, you will need two to three desiccant kits every six months.
The Disposable Desiccant Kit consists of two Tyvek bags of Type 4A molecular sieve; each weighing about 44 grams. This kit ships with a humidity indicator card to identify sieve conditions upon arrival. Compatible with the Spectrum One/65/100/100N/400 and the Spectrum 3/Frontier spectrometers. Qty. 2 bags
