The Perkin Elmer TR717 Luminometer functions as a photo-counting microplate detection system designed to quantify various forms of chemi- and bioluminescence. The TR717/LB96V microplate luminometer accommodates both 96-well and 384-well plates with minimal crosstalk. It offers three modes: Integrate for photon counting over a set time, Kinetics for a 20-point kinetic curve, and Repeated for scanning at intervals up to 48 hours. Applications include gene assays, ATP monitoring, NAD(P)H assays, cellular luminescence, DNA probes, luminescence immunoassays, and aequorin. The reagent volume is programmable from 25 to 300 µl.
