The Agilent 7697A Headspace Sampler is a gas chromatography (GC) sampling device that employs an inert sample pathway to automatically transfer volatile compounds from a sample matrix to a GC or GC/MS system. Built on the foundation of the 7890 GC and 7693A automatic liquid sampler, it is engineered to surpass the requirements of high-demand laboratories.
The automatic leak check verifies that each vial is free from leaks before analysis, maintaining precision and sensitivity. Hydrogen can be used as a safe alternative carrier gas. Priority sample positions allow for the inclusion of important samples that arrive late. Barometric pressure compensation ensures highly accurate and consistent results across various laboratories.
