Conquer Scientific offers a fully refurbished Shimadzu 40D LC System, designed for fast UHPLC separations with minimal dispersion. This system enhances compound identification accuracy, streamlines impurity analysis, and incorporates advanced deconvolution algorithms. The efficient LC-40D pump supports routine HPLC applications with pressures up to 44 MPa (440 bar), delivering reliable performance in isocratic, binary, and LPGE modes.
With a dual-piston design, the LC-40D pump ensures minimal pulsation for stable baselines. Optional solvent selection valves are available for flexible solvent choice, low-pressure gradient (LPGE) formation, and blending capabilities.
Low Pulsation and Stable Baseline: Features a parallel dual micro plunger (10 µL) construction that minimizes pulsation, ensuring a stable baseline.
Wide Flow Rate Range: Delivers a flow rate from 0.1 µL/min to 10 mL/min, with an accuracy of ±1% or ±2 µL/min (whichever is larger) and a precision of ≤0.06% RSD or 0.02 min SD (whichever is larger).
Flexible Operation Modes: Operates in constant flow or constant pressure modes and supports isocratic, low-pressure gradient, ternary high-pressure gradient, and quaternary low-pressure gradient settings.
FlowPilot Technology: Gradually ramps up the pump flow and waits for the column to reach its set temperature before reaching the target flow rate, protecting columns from pressure shock.
Maintenance and Log Display: Displays total operating time, solvent volume delivered per seal, and maintenance, error, and operation logs for easy tracking.
High Pressure Capacity: Handles up to 44 MPa (440 bar) at flow rates up to 5 mL/min and supports a pH range of 1-14.
Optional Solvent Selection: Supports internal 2- or 4-channel solvent selection or a low-pressure gradient formation unit (LPGE) for added flexibility.
Rinse Kit Compatibility: Optional rinse kit for washing behind the seals, reducing salt precipitation when using buffered mobile phases.
Adjustable Compressibility Setting: Allows users to set compressibility to minimize pulsation during operation.
