HYDMECH, founded in 1978 by Polish immigrant Stan Jasinski in Woodstock, Ontario, is a global leader in metal sawing technology. Originally an engineering consulting firm for forestry equipment, it pivoted to manufacturing innovative mitering band saws in 1980. It is now a top North American band saw manufacturer.
