The Sartorius SartoFlow Advanced is a modular benchtop tangential flow filtration (TFF) system optimized for ultrafiltration and diafiltration in downstream bioprocessing. It is suited for lab-scale and clinical trial manufacturing, especially for purification of vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and similar biomolecules. The design supports both multi-use and single-use configurations, offering flexibility, scalability, and efficient yield.

- Membrane Area Flexibility: Supports membrane surface areas from ~0.1 m² up to ~2.1 m², depending on cassette configuration.- Recirculation Vessel Options: Offers stainless steel ~10 L tank or single-use bags of ~5-20 L.
- Low Hold-Up Volume: Minimum loop (recirculation) volume approximately 200 mL.
- Pump & Pressure Performance: Low-shear 4-piston membrane pump; maximum operating pressure about 4 bar (≈60 psi); flow rates up to ~700 L/h under rated conditions.
