NEW GIARDINA GST ZERO GLOSS UV OVEN

The Giardina UV Zero Gloss UV Oven uses Excimer technology to achieve a very high level of opacity, as well as a high resistance to scratching, wear, less yellowing and fingerprints.
Thanks to the excimer technology, it is possible to obtain "super mat" surfaces, a much higher chemical and mechanical resistance, a perfect adhesion of the varnishing product to the support, the maximum ease in cleaning operations on any type of surface. In recent years, the mat finishes are having a great success, but the traditional systems to obtain them, or the use of silica particles, made the final result particularly sensitive to scratches, abrasions, shocks, a fragility directly proportional to the amount of "mat product" present in the paint. The Excimer technology makes it possible to solve the long-standing problem: thanks to paints with special characteristics and to the use of special lamps that act in a nitrogen-rich environment, the surface structure can be reticulated to obtain a "zero gloss" surface, resistant, without damages to the support. Many advantages: an extremely mat surface (from 1.5 to 5 gloss), an evident softness to the touch, an increase in abrasion resistance up to five times that obtained with traditional painting systems, a higher chemical resistance, a "anti-fingerprint" surface, resistance to yellowing, possibility to obtain surfaces with a smooth and uniform three-dimensional effect.
The excimer process – activated thanks to the energy that the excimer lamp emits in an inert atmosphere – offers enormous advantages: an ultra-matt surface (1.5-5 gloss without using opaque agents) and “anti-fingerprint”; the increase in surface hardness, chemical resistance and abrasion; an extreme “softness” to the touch and a lesser chance of yellowing over time.
