The Amada Pega 244 20 ton turret punch press, from the year 1990, features a capacity of approximately 20 to 22 tons. This machine can handle a maximum sheet weight of 110 lbs and operates with a maximum feed speed of 2000 in/min. It achieves up to 350 strokes per minute and has a turret speed of 30 RPM. The punch press is equipped with 18 turret stations. It is capable of punching material up to 1/4″ thick, with a smallest programmable increment of 0.001″. Depending on the configuration, it may utilize an Amada FANUC P- 6M CNC control or an Amadan-04P-C controller.
