The swivel-head design of the SRT Series of 5-axis mills features an integral spindle and a flush, C-axis rotary table that provides an additional 3.5 inches of clearance in the Z-axis to support taller parts. Additionally, the rotary table has unlimited angular movement, which reduces cycle times because the table isn’t forced to continually wind and unwind during the cycle. The extra large table supports versatile manufacturing with the ability to use the extra table space for secondary operations or 3-axis work.
