The APV-Baker Perkins Multi-Purpose Twin Screw Extruder with co-rotating screws can be used for preparation, compounding, mixing and processing of food or pharmaceuticals.
Screws: 50mm (2") diameter x 711mm (28") long, approximate 14:1 L/D ratio.
The electrically heated, water-cooled barrel is clam shell design (for ease of cleaning), with front mounted single hole die.
Extruder is driven by a 25 hp motor.
Panel with a Quantum 3 DC drive is unitized on a skid with casters, and includes a console control K-Tron feeding system #S200-89-115-F1.
