The Vulcan VSC84 chef base provides cold storage beneath a flat, reinforced stainless steel top. This 84-inch-wide unit features a 1,500-pound maximum top load capacity with its four drawers. The drawers self-close to retain temperature and include a stay-open feature for loading. Full-length handles with gasket guards, magnetic snap-in gaskets, and 14-gauge stainless steel drawer slides help support daily use.
To maintain internal temperatures, the Vulcan VSC84 refrigerated base uses a front-breathing, self-contained refrigeration system that accommodates zero-clearance installation. The microprocessor control system ensures consistent cooling performance, while anti-condensate perimeter heaters minimize exterior moisture buildup. The electric condensate evaporator runs an off-cycle defrost process to manage humidity. A side, front, and rear access panel streamlines service and maintenance, and the unit is mounted on 3-inch casters for mobility.
