Designed for expanded cold storage beneath the cookline, the Vulcan VSC60 chef base with drawers spans 60 inches and includes a smooth, flat stainless steel top that doubles as a durable foundation for countertop cooking equipment. Inside, two deep drawers accommodate 12-inch by 20-inch by 6-inch pans, keeping ingredients chilled and within reach. A self-contained refrigeration system uses R404A refrigerant to sustain consistent performance in high-heat areas.
Controllable perimeter heaters minimize drawer condensation, and magnetic gaskets snap in for quick replacement. Drawer handles include built-in guards to help protect the sealing edges. The Vulcan VSC60 chef base with drawers features a microprocessor control, off-cycle defrost, removable condenser filter, and channel-mounted casters for flexible installation and simplified service access.
