NEW ROTO-DIE LIGHT CURTAIN RETROFIT

Light Curtain Retrofit package for Rotodie Model 5, Model 10 and Model 15

In consideration of operator safety as well as OSHA compliance, we offer a Light Curtain Safety System for Roto-Die Hydraulic Benders that meets ANSI B11.3. This safety system is available on new machines and can be retrofitted on most existing single pump Roto-Die machines.

Features include:

- A new main control panel including lockout/tagout requirements
- 12” Category 4 Light Curtain to offer maximum protection above the upper punch and below the lower die.
- Dual Self-Monitoring Electronic Solenoid Valves
- Dual Proximity Sensors for Muting Function
- Push-button operator station
- Front fixed-guard for added safety in the die area
- New piping, high-pressure fittings and all required hardware
- Manual jog of upper die remains intact

For existing Roto-Die owners:
The business owner shall be responsible for ensuring that safeguarding is provided, installed, maintained, and used for all individuals involved in the production process. As the current user of a Roto-Die Hydraulic Bender, you are responsible for the safety of each person that operates this hydraulic bender. Since 2007, Roto-Die has offered a Light Curtain System available for purchase. Our system not only meets ANSI B11.3, but can also be retrofitted to your existing Roto-Die Hydraulic Bender.
