All three burners have individual pilot lights and controls so operators can adjust the heat of each section. While the char radiants positioned above the burners absorb and radiate heat toward the cooking surface, the supercharger burner dividers enhance heat distribution across the cooking surface. Its gently closed heavy-duty cast iron grates facilitate fat runoff, minimize flare-ups, and can be lifted off for thorough cleaning. To contain pops of hot oil, this unit comes with two side splashes and a removable backsplash.
To save space in compact kitchens, the Vulcan VCBB18B charbroiler measures 18 inches wide by 36 3/4 inches deep by 40 1/2 inches high and features a cabinet base. Great for storing condiments, sauces, spices, utensils, and other supplies, the cabinet is built with universal rack guides and one removable shelf. The stainless steel cabinet door secures stored contents and establishes a clean, concealed appearance. For lasting durability, its front, front top ledge, burner box, sides, base, and stub back are made of stainless steela€”a rust-, dent-, and scratch-resistant material. Its four 6-inch legs can be raised or lowered to stabilize the unit on bumpy or uneven flooring, minimizing the risk of it rocking or wobbling during use. Overall, this natural-gas-powered unit can output 49,000 BTUs per hour.
