Its porcelain-enameled steel oven has a 29-inch-wide by 22 1/8-inch-deep by 20-inch-high structure, and it's heated by electric, solid-sheath elements. The unit's top, rear, sides, bottom, and doors are insulated to prevent heat from escaping the unit, and a two-speed oven blower-motor moves air around product. When the unit should be cooled, users can flip the oven cool switch, which rapidly decreases the temperatures.
To streamline operation, the Vulcan VC4EC electric convection oven has built-in computer controls, which include digital time and temperature readouts, a 99-hour timer with an audible alarm, a roast-and-hold cycle, and 100 programmable menu selections. Its stainless steel front, sides, and top are resilient to endure common wear from routine use; its two independently operated stainless steel doors provide users direct access to product. Double-pane windows integrated into the doors enable users to manage cooking foods that are highlighted by two interior lights.
