The Vulcan VC6ED single-deck convection oven has a deeper design than other Vulcan models, making it ideal for bakeries. Featuring a porcelain enamel interior measuring 29 inches wide by 26 1/8 inches deep by 20 inches high, this oven is equipped with five nickel-plated oven racks that can be adjusted to 11 different positions. Ita€™s heated with electric solid-sheath elements, and a two-speed, 1/2-horsepower oven blower motor helps move air around for even heating. The unita€™s top, rear, sides, bottom, and doors have a built-in, non-sagging insulation, which helps retain heat for back-to-back use. Users can adjust temperatures from 150 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit with solid-state controls, and a 60-minute timer audibly alerts staff when food is ready.
To withstand wear from loading product and opening and closing its doors, the Vulcan VC6ED convection ovena€™s front, sides, and top are made of stainless steel. Its two stainless steel doors open separately, reducing heat loss and improving direct access to product. Users can also peer through the doorsa€™ double-pane windows to manage the cooking process. For stabilization, this 40-inch-wide by 46 1/4-inch-deep by 54 3/4-inch-high unit is supported by 23 3/4-inch-tall painted legs.
