COMBINATION POWER BELT CONVEYORS & CHAIN-DECKS MATERIAL-HANDLING SYSTEM

The system was used to move 1-15/16" up to 7-3/8" wide x 16' long popular boards downstream from two opitmizing cut-off saws to a pull-chain conveyor. The system takes materials out from the saws via (2) fixed speed powered belt conveyors at different heights that laterally feed the pull chain by way of slide decks. The materials slide down to a faster “Hurry-up” feed chain positioned under both slides, which then feeds the slower pull chain conveyor.

General Specifications:
- (2) 11” wide x 46.5’ power belt conveyors, (from (2) cut-off saws that are not included)
- The (2) conveyors are set up at different levels, (65” lower/rear & 83” upper/front heights)
- Angled slide-diverters slide the materials across the belts off their sides onto the gravity slide/drop decks.  
- Products slide down the decks onto the 16’-8”, 8-chain “hurry-up” chain-deck, (24”/24”/18.5”/21”/24”/ 24” centers) that is sheeted between chains. (current enclosure-guard limits 16’2” long materials to be processed)
- 32’-4” long x 10’ wide x 43.5” working height 6-chain pull-chain conveyor, (24”/24”/24”/26”/28” centers)

- The system includes the original pneumatic push-diverter system and controls on the power belt conveyors that were decommissioned and are still in place, (2 cylinders per conveyor)
