USED HEALD 272 TOOLROOM

The model 272 Heald "toolroom" internal grinder is engineered for precision internal grinding applications. This machine features a 26-inch maximum swing over the table and a maximum hole diameter capacity of 21.75 inches, accommodating a bore length up to 14 inches. The grinding angle includes a maximum of 60 degrees.

Operational features include a variable speed hydraulic workhead motor driving the workhead spindle, which offers speeds ranging from 133 to 400 RPM. The grinding table provides infinite speeds from 0 to 15 FPM, supported by a 30.25-inch longitudinal travel and a power rapid traverse of 35 FPM.

The grinder is equipped with a Heald "red head" grinding spindle and a 12-inch 4-jaw chuck. Power is supplied by a 5 HP wheelhead spindle motor and a 1.5 HP hydraulic motor.
