This 72" x 0.135" 5HI Herr-Voss Precision Leveler, model VKL 84/1.75-19/7 5 Hi RH, offers efficient functionality for industrial applications. It accommodates material widths up to 72 inches and supports a gauge range of .020" to .135", with a yield strength capacity of 35,000 PSI. The equipment is capable of operating at a maximum line speed of 400 feet per minute, in a right-to-left direction, making it suitable for high-demand production environments.
This leveler features 19 work rolls, each with a diameter of 1.75 inches and an 84-inch face, supported by 9 back-up flights, of which 7 are motorized. Powered by a 250 HP DC motor running at 1,750 RPM and 500 V, the leveler ensures robust performance. A blower is included for operational efficiency. The reducer has a gear ratio of 1.97:1, optimizing motor output for precision leveling tasks.
Control of the machine is facilitated through an operator control panel with joystick controls, enhancing user interaction for smooth operations. Currently, this leveler is not installed but is securely stored after being removed from its previous service location.
