The Skid Steer Horizontal Log Splitter is a cost effective attachment for people who already have skid steers. One person can easily operate this attachment. It is similar in operation to the skid steer inverted log splitter version. The exception is that the log will be split on the right hand side of the machine instead of straight out like the inverted splitter. The cylinder is fully enclosed for extra protection from debris damage. The pushing ram is double reinforced and runs in a greasable track with a greasable grease fitting. The cutting wedge has deflectors to throw the wood both ways.
