Specifically designed for demanding machining operations on large components, the MCM JET FIVE horizontal machining centers represent the highest in technology and size range for MCM Machining Centers.
The wide variety of configurations, the high material removal rates and the remarkable performances allow the JET FIVE machining centers to manufacture a wide range of parts in different materials. Thanks to JET FIVE it is in fact possible to manufacture both lightweight materials (aluminium, magnesium alloys) and difficult-to-machine materials (titanium, Inconel, special alloys).
All JET FIVE models can be included in Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) or Multipallet, solutions, completely designed and assembled by MCM.
JET FIVE solutions are developed and designed case by case on the customer needs in order to optimize productivity and shop floor surface employment.
The features of the JET FIVE line make it suitable for multi-industry sector applications. JET FIVE is in fact operating for a wide range of applications in various high precision manufacturing sectors such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Marine Engineering, Industrial applications.
The JET FIVE line of horizontal machining centers is the most customizable of all MCM lines in terms of structure, layout, dynamic performances and automation level.
A significant example of the high versatility and flexibility of JET FIVE is represented by the customizable X- axis stroke starting from 3000 up to 12000 mm.
Another feature is given by the pallet dimensions: 3.000 x 2.000 mm or 6.000 x 2.000 mm
