USED NILSON S-4

The Nilson "S" Series Fourslide, model S-4, is a versatile used piece of machinery designed for forming applications. It is capable of handling a basic wire diameter of 1/4" and a maximum strip metal width of 1 7/8". The machine offers a standard feed length of 17" and a speed range of 40-125 strokes per minute, ensuring efficiency in production. The slide strokes are precisely measured, with 2" at the front, 3 1/4" at the sides, and 2 1/8" at the back, complemented by a stripper rod stroke of 1 3/4".

The S-4 is equipped with a robust 5 HP motor and features a forming bed opening of 9" x 8", requiring approximately 99" x 84" of floor space. It boasts a maximum tonnage capacity of 5 tons and a die space length of 9 1/2". Ensuring safety and control, the machine utilizes a Wintriss SmartPac 2 with a Proximity Safety System and a Gordon Proxagard PC1000. The lubrication system includes a Pax Lube Sprayer with a 2.5-gallon reservoir and a Bijur Lube System with an electric oil pump and necessary fittings.

Additionally, the unit comes with an Accra-Botic De-Reller, model D-30, capable of handling 3000 lb at speeds of 0-46 RPM. It operates on 115/230 VAC and requires a space of 90" x 45". This combination makes it an efficient solution for metal forming operations.
