NEW 2026 BURRI PM 400 H (Honing Ring Profiling)

The Burri wheel profiling machine designs were actually the foundation of the Burri company - dating back to 2003. With the PM 400 H all standard honing rings up to 400 mm* and a width of 60 mm* can be slotted. The profiling head with 2 NC axes has a double function. Function 1: turn off the worn internal tooth splines. Function 2: Dressing of a new teeth. This feature allows the honing rings to be used more than once, thus considerably reducing the payback period (ROI) of the machine. The machine has a dialog-driven surface and the honing rings can be fully automatic turned off and re-dressed. NOTE: Due to the extreme toughness of the honing ring material this pre-profiling process only works in a wet environment.
