NEW 2026 BURRI PM-550T

The Burri PM550T grinding wheel profiling machine has a stable machine bed with stress relieved, welded construction designed utilizing finite elements analysis. The wheel profiling machine designs were actually the foundation of the Burri company - dating back to 2003. The working chamber for receiving the profiling unit incorporates an outlet for abrasive dust and connection for an industrial vacuum cleaner. The traversing cross slide has preloaded linear guide rails and the ball-screw with AC Servomotors is installed in a sealed, dust-free housing for long service life. Dust-free operation is ensured by a full machine enclosure with an easy access hinged door. Operation of the machine is user-friendly and thus easy to learn in a short time: A dialogue-based user interface features easy menu navigation and a logical structure. It proposes automatically a program for the grinding wheel to be processed. The program sequence is fully automatic. Optionally, a CNC software package is available. As a result, all profile shapes can be realized. Digital drives and absolute measuring systems meet the highest standards.
